It has been one week since volunteer registration began for our June 3 Numana meal packing event. Our goal is to pack 80,000 meals on that day for the children of Haiti. As of today, we have enlisted 277 of 300 needed volunteers. There are only 23 more volunteer spots available for the meal packing during the 12pm session. So if you want to sign up for one of the packing sessions, you better jump on the opportunity now before it is too late.
In addition to shift volunteers are in need of 11 green shirt volunteers. These are volunteers who will be there throughout the day. They will help with set up and clean up. They will work the registration tables and load the truck with the finished boxes. These volunteers may serve up to 8 hours of the day. If you are interested in serving as a green shirt volunteer, send us an email at . A priority right now is to find a couple of volunteers who are able to lift 50+ lbs.
An update on our fundraising. At this point $19,844 out of the $24,000 that is needed for 80,000 meals. Every 30¢ is one more meal. $65 (less than the cost of taking your family out to dinner) will supply a box of food that can feed a family in Haiti for two months.
We are grateful to our corporate sponsors we want to recognize them:

Fundraising will end on May 22. We will pack meals based upon how the amount of money that is raised. If we have raised enough for 75,000 meals we will pack 75,000. If we raise enough for 100,000, we will pack 100,000.
Thank you for making a difference!
